TYhe ACR40U reader is a basic reader model for smart contact cards, e.g. for electronic signature. It combines advanced technology and modern design. It meets strict requirements imposed, among others, by payment systems or electronic identification systems, where the highest emphasis is placed on a high level of security.
The ACR40U is a secure and reliable device – its service life is estimated at up to 100,000 card insertion cycles. The reader is fully compatible with PC/SC and CCID and works with operating systems such as: Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, iPadOS i Android.
The device is distinguished not only by its robustness, but also by its elegant design, ideally suited for users of smart cards in the standard ID-1 format (85.60 x 53.98 mm).
The ACR40U reader supports cards with electronic signatures. The ACR40U can also be used in various IT systems whose users use Standard smart contact cards.
