A device for attaching a secure electronic signature With its compact size, a Certum Mini suite ensures ease of use and is just perfect for clients interested in mobile solutions. A qualified certificate included in the suite can be used to sign social insurance declarations.

Versions available:

– with a card reader (valid for 1, 2 or 3 years)
– without a card reader (valid for 1, 2 or 3 years) dedicated for cryptographic card reader owners

CERTUM case in a mini version is a perfect complementary accessory for cryptographic card readers. Made of quality eco-friendly leather, a durable and stylish case offers the perfect protection for your card reader.

  • A mini cryptographic card (the size of a mobile phone SIM card - IDPrime 940B)
  • A card reader (available only in suites with a card reader): Mini ACR40T-A1 (USB type A) or ACR40T-A5 (USB type C) (shiped acording to client's choice).
  • The CERTUM qualified certificate – the only one in Poland that is automatically recognized by ADOBE software as trusted.

1. Buy

After purchasing the Certum Mini suite, you will receive a parcel with a cryptographic card which must be activated.

2. Activate

Open the Certum Panel, sign up or log in. To apply for a certificate, click the button “New application”. The system will guide you through the process step by step. On the back of the card there is a number that you will need to start activation.

During activation, the card with the reader does not need to be connected to the computer.

If you do not have a PESEL number, please note that the certificate application requires an ID with an expiration date longer than the certificate you purchased.

3. Confirm your identity

Identity verification is a necessary step in the process of applying for an electronic signature, it is a paid service.

To complete it, prepare your ID or passport and the documents we generated for you. Take them to:

If you visit one of our Points of Sale, all formalities can be arranged during one meeting.

Your qualified certificate will be issued within 7 business days after we receive your documents. You will be able to download your qualified signature electronically, you will get the link to it in an email.

If you decide to visit one of our Point of Sale, you can use an additional service and get the certificate in 30 minutes or on the next business day (additional charges apply).

The qualified certificate should be installed on the Certum card. Remember to connect the reader with the card to the computer before starting the certificate installation.

Safety warnings Data loss:
Improper storage or use of cryptographic cards can lead to the loss of data stored on them.
Unauthorized access:
Loss, theft and lack of proper security features can allow unauthorized access to data stored on the card. Do not share your access data with others, and remember to use strong passwords.
Physical damage:
Store the card in conditions that prevent its destruction. Cryptographic cards are sensitive to mechanical damage, such as bending, breaking or flooding. Prolonged use of the card in unsuitable temperature conditions can lead to overheating and damage.
Instructions for use Malware infection:
Do not connect the card to untrusted devices. Connecting a card to an unprotected device can result in a malware infection.
Updated software:
Use only up-to-date software. Using a card with outdated software can increase the risk of vulnerability to cyberattacks.
Inappropriate disposal:
Use the card according to the handling instructions. Improper removal of the card from the reader can lead to damage to the data or the card itself.
Compliance information This product complies with the requirements of Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2023/988 of May 10, 2023 on general product safety.

Safety warnings Avoid physical damage:
Protect the reader case from damage and destruction, the USB connector from damage. Do not connect the reader to the device if the case, connector or cable is damaged.
Protection against moisture and heat:
The USB reader should be stored in a dry place, away from sources of moisture and heat. It is recommended to use a protective case to prevent mechanical damage.
Use in accordance with the intended use of the equipment:
It is forbidden to modify hardware or software, to use in conditions that do not comply with the instructions.
Instructions for use Connecting and disconnecting:
Connect and disconnect the reader to the device according to the device's instructions.
Card compatibility:
Only standard smart cards that meet normative requirements can be inserted into the reader. It is forbidden to insert any other items into the reader.
Software updates:
Regularly updating the USB reader's software is key to ensuring its compatibility and security. Check the availability of updates on the manufacturer's website and install them according to the instructions.

The Guarantor shall ensure the efficient operation of the Product for which this warranty card is issued, provided that the Product is used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Product documentation or in the Online Store.
